BUCKLEY RADIO CORP DIVESTS KIOO(FM)

Deal with Momentum Broadcasting - CLOSED

In a transaction which closed recently, KIOO(FM) – Porterville [Visalia], California was sold by Buckley Broadcasting of San Joaquin Valley to Momentum Broadcasting, LP for an undisclosed amount.

KIOO(FM), a Class B station, operates in the Classic Rock format on 99.7mHz with 24kw at an antenna height of 689 feet.

Buckley Broadcasting of San Joaquin Valley is a subsidiary of Buckley Broadcasting Corp. The company owns KSEQ(FM) in Visalia-Fresno as well as 10 other stations in California. Kathy Baker, Buckley Executive Vice President said that this transaction filled a strategic need for both parties.

Momentum Broadcasting, LP, headed by Don Groppetti Managing General Partner, also owns KCRZ(FM), KJUG(FM) and KJUG(AM) in the Visalia market market.

Dick Foreman of Richard A. Foreman Associates, Inc., initiated the transaction and served as the exclusive broker in the negotiations.
